Welcome to History 312's Discussion Blog

Since we had such a fruitfull discussion over emails the last couple days, I wondered if we could transfer that discussion to an easier to handle format. While the discussion tool was mentioned in class, I for one feel that blogs are the best format for things like this.

While the blog is devoted to the class, I recommend that the options for what to post on are quite open. Discussions could follow any of the following:

1. Ideas in class that you felt need to be engaged more.
2. Interesting things you found in your reading.
3. A forum to try out some of your research and get feetback from your peers.
4. Any topic you feel is any way relevent to the class (which is intentionally vague).

And I would like as many people as possible to post, so if you just email me (ben25unc AT gmail DOT com) I will give you access as a poster.
